Before racing, I attended high performance driving events, completing about 3000 on-track miles in 2000 and 2001. There is no replacement for seat time.
I received my ICSCC race license in 2002, completing 17 races with a self-built and maintained BMW race car. Detailed results for my races can be found on the Conference website, under "Results" and then the 2002 season.
Due to external commitments, my goal for the 2003 season was to complete only a few races. I was still be at the track often, but in the passenger seat as an instructor with the BMW CCA Puget Sound Region club. Despite my very limited schedule, I placed 3rd of 9 G-P competitors in ICSCC's August, 2003 race.
Over the winter of 2003 - 2004, I've working to further prepare my car for reliability and (gasp!) appearance. For the 2004 season, I'll be present at many more races driving my now InkaOranage 318i. I am looking forward to my partnerships with Haury's Lakecity Collision and Carpenter Creek Winery.
